My family and were a little nervous about our trip to Guatemala back in 2012, but Martsam did a great job. We had been there before, but this time we planned to travel more extensively throughout the country. They arranged a great guide that was consistently with us every day we were there. It was invaluable to have someone local helping us throughout our day and acting as a guide. Martsam arranged our trip to the airport and for guides to meet us in Flores to give us a private ride to Tikal. They did a great job explaining the local towns and cultures. We even had a private guide through Tikal who helped my 9 year old son coax a tarantula out of its hole in the ground with a long blade of grass. It was a great tug of war to watch. They also arranged a personal guide for when we stayed in Panajachel to show us around the lake and surrounding towns. We told them our itinerary and they arranged the guides. It was great and I would definitely use them again.
